At the moment the season is coming to the last stage. Every team in Elite League is fighting for play off spot and every spot is still open. It is good for the fans that league is so competitive from start to end, but for players it is little more difficult. You have no time to take any game easy. One small mistake can cost team play off stages so everyone gives 100%. My team is still fighting for Top 8 place finish which means we will play the play off.
My season so far was pretty good as I am top goal scorer for my team. I would like to thank Space Clinic as well for this achievement as last year I had a bad injury to my right knee but thanks to the excellent work from Space Clinic I was back in training after 6 weeks and I started the new season without any problems.
As every ice hockey fan knows the World Championship this year is in Russia. A lot of National Coaches are scouting players in Europe and North America. They are trying to find out the current form of players, their injuries during season etc. I was capped 4 times for my National Team, Slovakia, and I would love to be playing for them again this year, but it's going to be pretty tough to get in the team for the World Championship .A lot of Slovak players who currently play in the NHL (Best Ice Hockey league in the world) are available for selection. So I will have to wait to hear.

Unfortunately I have not been selected for my National Team, Slovakia. I knew it was going to be very difficult to make the team as a lot of the hockey coaches do not recognize the UK Elite league as highly as some other Europeans League. I found out yesterday that 6 top forwards from NHL (Top league in the world) are coming to play for Team Slovakia so it is going to be a very strong team this year and I am looking forward to watching this championship.
On the up side I can now start my holiday and start enjoying my time with my family which is difficult during the season. It wasn't the best season for the Caps but we improved a lot against last year. We have to stay positive and make sure that next year we will make play off.
